A weekend away

So this past weekend my husband and I had a fun weekend in Galveston where I stuffed myself with fresh gulf shrimp and we walked on the beach, and just had an overall relaxing time. I haven't posted in awhile, and so here are a few photos from our little trip.

For the Love of Shopping

Here's a post with some outfits I made from a few of the new pieces I bought over the weekend :) here's the haul:
Tan blazer (on clearance for $20! Gap had similar ones, but they were $88!)
2 Nautical looking skirts (On clearance for $11 each!)
Denim skirt - all from TJ Maxx
Tan wedge sandals (On sale! Yay!)- Target

After I got home, I started having second thoughts about the tan blazer, but after styling it a few ways and removing the hideous shoulder pads, I'm kind of in love! I'm finding that there are endless options to be had with a tan blazer and leopard flats. Pretty much anything in between goes! Score :)
