Spring is coming!

Getting my spring/summer 2013 wardrobe updated! I began a love affair with nautical color themes last year, and I have to say the love is only getting stronger. I got a few lightweight long sleeve henley's, and I'm loving them for this in-between weather where it's 45-50 degrees in the mornings but 65-70 in the afternoon. I also got a cropped mint cardigan to wear with my valentines dress in the future, a kelly green cardigan, and a gray striped scarf.

Be my valentine?

So I finally got my dress for valentines tonight! Last minute- I know. I saw these cute pink and gray polka dot dresses at Target a week or so ago and decided if I couldn't come up with a satisfactory outfit for my hot date, I'd go buy it for myself. So there it is :) I'm not usually a big fan of high-low skirts but this one stuck me just right. I like that I can walk in it without worrying about tripping ;) Also it can be dressed down pretty easily and worn all through spring and summer. The next two photos are just a couple random outfits :) the last photos are of my "upcycling" projects, I've been buying the most adorable colored jeans on clearance at target for $7.48 and upcycling them into skirts. Colored denim skirts are hard to come by, let alone for $7! Only takes about 30 minutes to flip too. I have a third green one in the works, photos of that one coming soon :)
